The Sparkle Spider

OK, this one almost isn't fair.  The Sparkle Spider is the go-to dry fly for all of our guides during our longest and best hatch of the season here on the Beaverhead - the PMD hatch.  It floats well, its easy to see, its durable, and its a downright fishy pattern.  We really like this pattern when fish are taking duns off of the surface but it is also super-effective when fish are keying in on emergers... just don't use as much Frog's Fanny and let your Sparkle Spider sit low in the film and do its thing.
