Brite Beads are the classic brass bead used in flies such as the Beadhead Hare's Ear Nymph and Beadhead Prince Nymph. While not as dense as tungsten beads, Brite Beads provide the perfect amount of weight to get your nymph down to where the fish are feeding in situations such as shallw water riffles or slower water. Importantly, Brite Beads help you get down to where you need to be without as much risk of snagging bottom when compared to tungsten beads.
We offer Brite Beads in Copper, Gold, Nickel, and Black Nickel. 25 Beads per pack. Please refer to the sizing chart below to choose the appropriate size bead for the fly you intend on tying. This sizing chart is meant to be used as a general guide and different styles of hooks may not coincide with the sizing chart due to differences in hook gap and/or gauge.
