Tungsten Beads are the most dense beads available, and they will certainly get your fly down to where it needs to be in a hurry. While tungsten beads are not preferable for all angling situations where a weighted nymph is required, there are some situations where tungsten is really the only option. Fast water and deep plunge pools, where the big fish hang out, are two situations where tungsten beads will get your nymph into the feeding lane right quick, leading to more hook-ups.
We offer Tungsten Beads in Copper, Gold, Nickel, and Black Nickel. 20 Beads per pack. Please refer to the sizing chart below to choose the appropriate size bead for the fly you intend on tying. This sizing chart is meant to be used as a general guide and different styles of hooks may not coincide with the sizing chart due to differences in hook gap and/or gauge.
