Fur Collar Keys Style Tarpon

A relatively newer take on the classic Keys Style Tarpon Flies, these are tied exactly the same except they have a crosscut rabbit fur collar as opposed to a shlappen or squirrel hair collar.  The use of crosscut rabbit and rabbit strips has become increasingly popular in the design of tarpon flies.  For light sand bottom, the Tan Shrimp or the Orange/Grizzly are your best bets.  For dark water or laid up fish, the Black/Red is tough, if not impossible, to beat.
