Steady, Clear Flows from Clark Canyon have the Beaverhead Fishing Very Well!
Beaverhead River - A short cycle of increasing flows from the dam has subsided and the Beaverhead is fishing well all day. The PMD hatches still have the fishes attention below the surface, but we are seeing increasing activity on hoppers and attractor dries. Yesterday afternoon the fishing with larger attractor dries was stellar.
Big Hole River - Hot dry weather over the last couple of weeks has triggered Hoot Owl Restrictions on portions of the Big Hole River. A few spruce moths are beginning to show! Let's hope this annual terrestrial bonanaza happens over the next week
