Fall is Coming
This week's weather has us eager to see the return of several of our favorite fisheries. While the Jefferson and a good portion of the Upper and Lower Big Hole remain closed, this week's cool temps and moisture are showing signs that this summer's hot dry weather is relenting. There is an above average chance of moisture with a La Nina forming over the Pacific Ocean. Soon, the water will rise, the temps will drop and the fish will rejoice that this dry hot summer is behind us.
The Beaverhead is spitting some nasty gray water out of Clark Canyon Reservoir. Strong winds have whipped the low reservoir uprooting silt that is making its way through the dam. The water clears as you get downstream. The conditions seem to change daily. Give us a call for up to the minute conditions.
