Winter Has Arrived
While it took its sweet time getting here, Old Man Winter has finally arrived. Our snow pack is rising and we've turned our thoughts to the upcoming season. Anglers eager to find fishing during the winter months should focus their attention on Poindexter Slough and the Beaverhead River below Pipe Organ Bridge. Sowbugs, scuds, midges, and worms should all be on the menu. Streamer fishing can be productive on the right days as well. Please call for the most up to the date information, 406-683-5276. As winter loses its icy grip, we'll update our reports as more options become available. As always, be aware that the Beaverhead River upstream from Pipe Organ to the dam is closed to fishing until the third Saturday in May.
