The Rains have subsided and the Rivers are Primed
After a tumultuous June of flows on the Big Hole, the high water has receded and the river is in excellent shape. Golden Stone, Yellow Sally, and PMD dry patterns are all working. The Beaverhead has remained a model of consistency straight through from opening day. In fact, it is getting better every day. Flows are uncharacteristically low right now, 365 cfs, leaving a lot of big fish vulnerable. It has been a long time since we've seen the Beav produce at the this level on a daily basis. PMDs, Yellow Sallies, and caddis are out in abundance.
