A very popular destination for bonefish in the Pacific Ocean is the fabled Christmas Island. Miles and miles of hard, white sand flats play host to thousands of bonefish. Most fish run in the 3-4 lb. range but big bonefish (6-9 lbs) are taken with regularity. Also, Giant, Blue, and Striped Trevally are taken on the flats of Christmas Island with good regularity. These brutes are capable of ripping fly line off of a big reel faster than most fish twice their size. Accommodations are in the Captain Cook Hotel, with 24 clean and comfortable rooms, each with private bath. Hearty portions of your favorite foods, in addition to local specialties cap off the entire operation. The Frigate Bar is always well stocked and a welcome retreat after a full day's fishing.
Fishing Package includes 6-1/2 days of fishing, transportation to and from fishing areas each day, (3 days on lagoon punt, 4 days by truck), and guide/driver each day.
