Isla Holbox Fishing Lodge, Mexico
A relatively unkown fly fishing paradise, this island called Holbox (pronounced; Hole-Bosh) is a Tarpon fisherman's dream-come-true.
The lodge is located a scenic 2 hour drive north of Cancun, where you are able to relax on white sandy beaches and remove yourself from everyday life. Snook & Baby Tarpon are always abundant, but it's the 100lb. + Silver Kings that roam the nearshore waters from May-September that are ready to out your fishing skills to the ultimate test. At Holbox, the Super Slam, with Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and Snook, is always a possibility! A beach-front lodge, well apointed rooms all with air conditioning, private bath, and a 24/7 open Cerveza Bar make for a perfect Mayan get-a-way for both fishermen and non-fishermen alike.
Trip includes all guiding, round trip transfers to and from Cancun, continental breakfast, lunch on boat, and beverages at the lodge. Dinner is on your own, except for a special "Mexican Night" feast at the lodge.

The lodge is located in the famous Ascension Bay area with miles of flats at your doorstep. The bones average from 2-6 lbs and permit have been taken up to 40 lbs.
