Beaverhead River

The fall fishing has been fantastic. A few cool days with snow, but it’s warming up and the Blue Wing Olive’s will kick into gear as the water is down to fall/winter flows at 190 CFS. For floaters and wade fisherman alike this level is ideal. Look for the big browns to be on the move and eating their favorite streamers. You can target the big rainbows with small nymphs and dries, but the other day a friend took a real beauty over 5 pounds on a size 4 copper Zonker.

Don’t forget to grab a Winston BIIIx when here - They are on sale. Probably the best rod ever built.
