This is the year!

Beaverhead River

Fishing is fantastic. We are seeing big, healthy fish that we haven't seen in decades. Fishing is good all day long with nymphs and streamers. P.T. cruisers, T-Bur stones, TTT Mayfly nymphs are the flies of choice. Fish are full of Cranefly larva so be sure to have some Grubby Bug Craneflies in the box. Dry fly activity should kick in later this week.

Big Hole River

A banner year with a great supply of  water is a way to describe the Big Hole this season. Still seeing a few Salmoflies and the big Golden stones are offering dry fly fishing right now. Fat Franks are a must have dry fly. Nymphing with rubber legs and small mayfly patterns is another option if you aren't having luck with dries. Make sure you have Yuk Bugs and true Girdle Bugs. A great way to go is to use our Improved Stimulator with a dropper loop to cover both. Stop in the shop and check them out.
