BEAVERHEAD RIVER

The river has been fishing extremely well the past couple of weeks. They plan on increasing the flow gradually over the next week until full summer flows are reached.  Look for action on Sow Bugs and Scuds, San Juan worms, Barr’s Emergers, Midge Patters and PT patterns. Be on the lookout for some dry fly action in the afternoons.

BIGHOLE RIVER

The Big hole has been steadily coming down and is fishing. Look for action on San Juan Patterns, Pat's Rubberlegs, Bitch Creeks, Yuk Bugs, and Girdle Bugs. Have no Fear Salmon flies are almost here. Dry flies to have on the ready are Tubby Chernobyl and drakes.

Clark Canyon Reservoir

The Reservoir is currently full, water clarity is good. Fishing has been stellar using chironomids patterns like oil slick Buzzer in 15 to 30 feet of water. Also try leach patterns in different size and color.

Poindexeter Slough

The Fishing at the Slough has been on the up and up. Luck has been reported on smaller bugger patterns, Barr’s emergers, split backs, San Juan worms.
