We are open!
We are now open for business! However, we've instituted a few protocols to ensure our safety as well as yours. There will be hand sanitizer ouitside of the front door, please use it before entering. Our employees will be wearing masks and we'll be frequently disenfecting the front counter between customers. We have a lot of great flies in for the season as well as everything else you might need or want. Our shuttle service is open for business as well. Our drivers will be wearing gloves and will disenfect surfaces that they touch. Let's stay safe so that we can stay on the water!
Beaverhead River - The Beaverhead continues to consistently produce fish. Baetis nymphs, zebra midges, small worms, and sow bugs continue to work. The late afternoons have provided some excellent dry fly fishing on certain days. We should see an increase in the flows out of Clark Canyon within the next week. Check in with us, we'll update current conditions. The warm weather this week should make the big caddis hatch pop this week around Dillon. Give us a call for an update as conditions can change quickly this time of year.
Big Hole River - Warmer weather brought a big jump in flows to the Big Hole. Our favorite freestone is fishing, but clarity is not perfect. Warm weather this week should make the flows tick a bit higher by the end of the week. San Juan worms and bright streamers are your best bet. Following the warm weather this week, temperatures are expected to moderate and we should see a great window of fishing.
