The Beaverhead is Fishing Extremely Well!
Beaverhead River - We are seeing a lot of big smiles out on the Beaverhead River! Our customers, both guided and not, continue to see exceptional fishing on the Beaverhead. A multitude of PMD nymph and dry patterns are catching a lot of fish. Mid- morning through mid-afternoon has been the best window, with the evening caddis fishing getting better every day.
Big Hole River - There is a fantastic mid-July flow of water on the Big Hole with 1500 cfs still at Melrose. The fish are eating nocturn stones in the mornings with droppers and nymphing in the afternoons. The morning hours will be key as hot weather settles in.
