Salmon Flies on the Big Hole
Big Hole River - The big bugs are in the middle portion of the river, with big goldens near Melrose. Cooler, cloudier weather starting on Father's Day should make for some great fishing. The wind made things difficult today with gusts to 60 mph.
Beaverhead River - What a difference a few days makes. The crowds have left the river to fish the hatch. The lack of pressure has the Beav fishing well. The strong and dependable PMD hatches shouldn't be more than a week to ten days away.
